"Good things don’t end unless they end badly."

Watching The Bachelorette with Jooj (no real surprise there) and I heard something very profound (that is the surprise). After being rejected, Ben stormed off in an attempt to simply escape with a little crumb of dignity. The Bachelorette (whatever her name was) ran after him to track Ben down and give him the you-are-such-a-sweet-guy spiel. Ben didn't want to hear it (and good for him). He told her he didn't need her to sugar-coat it. Then he said the profound, prophetic phrase:

"Good things don’t end unless they end badly."

True words, son! Think about it. That belongs on a little strip of paper and buried in a stale cookie.
