Living in Louisville in May means that you are destined to be exposed to the Derby in some manner. Even if you do everything to avoid it, like I did for the past 48 hours, you'll still stumble across news coverage or some finely dressed ladies wearing silly hats. So goes being a Louisvillian on the 1st weekend in May.
Went to Susu's for her Derby party and had a blast binging on goodies and chumming it up with the in-laws. Always a good time with that side of the family.
