So Irene, a massive Category 3 hurricane, is tearing up the entire eastern seaboard. It's made landfall at the Carolina's and is going to just rip right up the coast. One million are already without power. A few have died. Rain and flooding are wreaking havoc. The scary thing is that they are saying this thing could hit Category 4. And if this sustains once it hits New York... well, that's some scary stuff!
UPDATE: Irene weakened to Tropical Storm status before hitting New York. And at this point (Monday morning at 1AM) it is no longer even that. All toll, over 4 million are without power, 20 are dead across 7 states, over 8000 fights have been cancelled, and things will be wrecked for weeks.
