The St. X Freshman Football squad played their first game against the Ballard Bruins last night. They crushed the shaky Bruins in the scorching heat with a final score of 27-0. They looked good. Sure, they made some mistakes and they got off to a bad start. But overall they looked sharp and polished.
Poor Will didn't get any playtime. But on a squad of 100 kids I don't really expect him to. Still, I'd like to see him in. And I really enjoyed watching the team play. I look forward to the rest of the season :)
