We had an All-American Memorial Day celebration today filled with a trip to the pool, hot dogs from the grill, and ice-cream! I don't know if we could have been more American unless we wore American flags as capes all day.
But seriously, I am very thankful for our troops that do such a fine job protecting us and our freedom. Just this morning I found out that my good friend Silver is moving with her husband to Fort Bliss soon. I had to look it up and was somewhat shocked to find it nestled between New Mexico, Texas, White Sands, and Juarez. That shit is going to be HOT!!! I hope the best for her and her family.
